MIdweek Randoms

Hi folks! I'm a little late to the game this week, but better late than never! Right? Of course right.

Last Friday, we went to a BBQ at the new tech director's (Dac's boss) house. That went well and Reid was a model citizen. =)

Saturday, we headed to Parsons for a wedding. It was our first since before Reid was born so I was a tad nervous but I fell right back into it and things went very well. The wedding was beautiful and everyone was super nice.

Sunday, after church, was the twins' first birthday party. Cori used the "You are My Sunshine" theme and it was adorable. The girls seem to have a great  time and they racked up some pretty sweet loot.

Here's Reid and his cousin Ahri playing during church.

After the party we ate Braums with Dac's family. Then I took a nap, did laundry, and sorted through wedding photos (that is a task).

Gah-lee-gee-whiz I love this kid. And those feet... gasp. I've soaked up every little bit of time with him I've had. It seems like I've been gone a lot for work and other things lately so I've tried to make every minute count.

Monday I had a Board meeting and Tuesday I went to a Celebrating Home party in Ponca with Heather, Kayla, and Amanda! I ended up with some cute citrusy-colored frames.

Wednesday, we helped host the big Biking Across Kansas event at the high school - so Dac worked until 8. That meant it was just Reid and I. I picked him up from daycare and we watered flowers, he ate peaches for the first time along with his squash and oatmeal, and spent time in the laundry basket while I quickly fixed myself something to eat.

Later, we played and read some books. THEN, I tried his little swim/surfer outfit on him. My mom got it for him a few months ago. I've been meaning to try it on him for a while but kept forgetting. He's hitting the pool for the first time in a couple weeks so I wanted to see if it would work. He has some other cute trunks too. He may where them ALL the weekend of Dac's family reunion. =)

Those leg rolls...

With the matching trunks on top.

By this time he was exhausted, so I slathered some coconut oil on him and got him all comfy-fied in his jam's.

Little stink pot.

Feet are kinda cool.

He ate and after a couple diaper changes =) he went right to sleep. I kinda like my time with him. =)

In other news, I have a dentist appt. next week. I despise going to the dentist. Ugh.

Also, we finally made Reid an appt. with a craniofacial specialist (plastic surgeon) in Kansas City for next month so he can check out Reid's head shape and somewhat continuing neck issues.

I've been way into iced tea this week.
