Late-week Randoms

Late again and I'm here with a random assortment of out-of-order tidbits and a photo explosion of my boy. Sorry for the boring content! =)

Life is just a whirlwind of work, personal, and photography stuff right now. I'm in the middle of preparing for the launch of a new website at work amongst a zillion other things. Summer - at least this part - is crazy busy in school district offices. It's unreal.

In between everything else, I try to enjoy the daily details with my guys.

Reid is a great eater. He's still just eating on 'food' meal a day... supper basically. I usually give him a veggie, a fruit, and some oatmeal to kind of thicken some of the food. So far he hasn't turned anything down.

He is strong. He can hold him self up while standing and has a mad grip. Maybe some tennis in his future?? Or some soccer to put those tough legs to good use? =)

Eating is serious bidness.

He's been a tad more solemn than usual thanks to some teething and congestion.

The good news it has allowed for a teensy bit more cuddle time.

I've started a little Instagram series called #dailystretchie. I love the little sleepers from Children's Place - they call them "stretchies". Anyway, it's really a way for me to just capture him just being him in his crib. Smiles aren't necessary - I love all his faces and this is a way for me to document them and some of his mannerisms.

This is one of my favorite shots.

I had some cavities filled this week. Here's what I think about that!

These two are buddies. =)

Each year Heather and I take each other out for a birthday pancake. Turns out our usual local cafe was closed the day we met, so we ended up at McD's. The pancakes are hardly the same but the company was just as good! =)

A while back I received a Puj Hug towel. It's a baby towel that you can hook around your neck so that your hands are free for grabbing baby and it keeps you dry too. I really like the towel but to be honest I've yet to use the hook feature. Still, the towel is super thick and soft and it's my go-to choice.

As you can see, Reid looks cute in it. Duh.

Here's Reid and his cousin Tater. Tater has been a little jealous/un-interested of Reid in the past but this last time they saw each other Reid loved petting him and Tater was SO good!! They are going to be good friends. =)

Another stretchie picture...

And another - constantly chewing on his fingers right now.

I really liked this one too.

Reid loves to bounce and jump. He seems to have fun with everything he does and everything's new and exciting. It's really fun to watch.

 Dac's Father's Day card. =) Such good-looking boys.

My birthday cake Terese made.

On Father's Day. How fortunate am I? Pretty darn, people.

Reid gets his first haircut today!

He seems to be adjusting to the new daycare. I am so thankful the transition was a smooth one. Daycare was such a stressful issue for a long time. Everything was up in the air and I cried just thinking about it. We have been super blessed that from the second I went back to work he is been in wonderful hands. We have just been blessed left, right, upside down and sideways by this. I am incredibly thankful.

Kayla and I are celebrating our birthdays tomorrow with friendday funday!! Can hardly wait!

Lots of stuff going on this weekend and I'm ready to be D to the UN with work for a couple days! =)
