Monday Morning Pop Tart

Week 22: You tagged along on lots of hot sessions this week but we both managed well. =) I got to hear your heartbeat again... 145 bpm this time. I also got a great report from Dr. A so yay for that! You Dad and I got to hang out more too, so that was nice too. =) You’re wiggling around a lot - hope you’re nice and comfy in there!

Highlights
How Far Along: 22 weeks
Size of baby: Papaya
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Shoot! I forgot to ask. I can't remember what I weighed last time so I don't know what I gained this month or total. I do know I gained again though. ha! Like I had any doubt! =)
Maternity Clothes: Yeah buddy! Several of the items I bought in the first weeks are already too small. Oops! =) Round two!
Gender: We're going to be surprised. Most friends and family are guessing boy but there are a few holding out for a girl. We really don't care one way or another - we'll be thrilled with either.
Movement: Yes. It all still feels pretty low but I'll occasionally feel punches higher up.
Sleep: I've added my body pillow back to the mix and it's helping. I'm still having quite a bit of pain in the evenings and wake up with a super sore back but it's at least helping me to sleep for longer periods of time.
Symptoms: Clearer skin. I'LL TAKE IT! =) That's a definite improvement over the first few months. Back/hip pain. Swelling.
What I miss: Ankles. =) ha!
Cravings: Chocolate milk and lots of it!
Best Moment this week: Hearing the baby's perfect heartbeat and getting a good report at the doctor's office.
What I am looking forward to: Dac being able to feel the baby move.

Reunion

The reunion was good. I got some pool time (even got some color), spent time with fun people, held babies, played games, ate a lot, and wore myself out by doing a whole lotta nothing. =)

I was also in good bump-sportin' company. Clearly November will be busy and Christmas will be full of new babies.

Princess Alisha - that's me on the floaty.  =)

POOL DAY

Uh-oh... look out... whitey hittin' the pool! =) (please excuse the red, dark, poor quality phone pic!)

What I see when I bend over... bahaha!

Today is day #1 of Dac's family reunion. I'm kinda excited - this is the first 'real' summer day I've had. I'm going to eat hamburgers and hotdogs (and too many treats) and HIT THE POOL!! My pregnant, puffy self can't wait to sink my buns into that nice cool water. HOLLA!

I didn't buy a new maternity swimsuit because... like I said... this is my first time wearing a swimsuit all summer. Also, my swimsuit from last year has a pretty long top and I figured I'd be ok. Well... it will work I guess, but it's not pretty. I've got half-wet hair, NO makeup, and you know what? I really couldn't care much less right now. Kinda lovin' it. I'm bringing my straw fedora (sun safety first people) and I'm gonna rock it. Party rockin' at the camp today... =)

Let's do this! Hope you all have a great weekend too! Stay cool!

Dr's Appt.

Just a real quick update:
  • I had an OB appointment yesterday and things were great! They were concerned at first because I've been having swelling and some bad headaches. BUT - my blood pressure was perfect and I had no elevated proteins or sugars in my pee SO I'm good to go for now! =) No pre-eclampsia for this girl! I'm just supposed to keep an eye on things and monitor BP if I notice any changes, etc...
  • She confirmed the baby looked good on the ultrasound... no problems. The heart rate yesterday was 145 - so right in line with where it's been the past couple of times.
  • I go back in a month. I can't say enough how thankful (and kind of surprised) I am that this pregnancy has been so healthy. With my history, I think Dac and I (and even Dr. A) went into this optimistic but cautiously and it feels good to have had at LEAST this long without any major hiccups. How blessed are we?!
  • In other news - saw the new Batman movie. Loved it. That is all - carry on! =)

Midweek Randoms

  • First, a quick recap.
  • My weekend went pretty well... I was nervous about having so many sessions but it actually worked out ok. I spent the day to and from Topeka for a meeting. Friday night, we did maternity pictures for Kayla so we got to hang out with her, Mark, and Journey. Even got ice cream after the sweat fest! Journey was real talkative with me too, so that made it even better! =D
  • Saturday, we got up and I immediately headed for the donut shop. Couldn't help it. It was donut day and I needed them stat. A maple long john and a dozen donut holes later and I was ready to take on the day! =) Oh - and of course my Diet Dr. Pepper. Breakfast drink of champions. Here's me heading out the door that morning... Dac quickly snapped it without my prior approval. Oh well... it pretty well sums it up. Drink. Camera bags. Ponytail. Just call my puffy the magic bug-eyed dragon and you've got it. =) Random factoid - see that scar in my eyebrow - where the hair kind of parts - my mom has that exact same scar in the exact same place. It's how we roll.
  • Our first session was of a sweet little girl and her momma. It was already hot out that morning but the session went well and we had a good time. AND I survived.
  • Then we met John, Anna, and Ruby at Braum's for lunch! =) John and Anna have actually been in town quite a bit recently for different things and of course I saw John in Colorado but I haven't seen Anna or Ruby for months! It was so good to catch up and see that fun little girl. Couldn't be more adorable.
  • That afternoon we took naps before heading to our next session of the day. It was fun and we spent most of our time in the shade of a barn so it wasn't even unbearable. The swelling was ridiculous again though at the end of that.
  • On the way home we stopped by the gas station for some snacks and then watched a Netflix movie. It was a goofy indy romantic comedy but it was kind of funny. It was nice to get home at a decent time and just relax together.
  • We were supposed to have another session Sunday but one of the kids got pink eye so they had to cancel. I wasn't about to let an unexpected free Sunday go to waste. I got up nice and early and did some grocery shopping at the Wal-Marts. Came home, put stuff away, did some laundry, made pancakes and scrambled eggs for lunch, read a pregnancy/newborn magazine, caught up on some blogs, watched some Netflix movies, took a nice hot bath with some new body wash, painted my toes, ate stuffed crust pizza for supper, and just had an all-n-all good, relaxing day with no swelling. HOLLA!
  • I've been way into making tea with the Keurig. I use the Southern Sweet and it's pretty good. I can fill a large sonic cup using just one k-cup.
  • I am appalled by the mass shooting in Aurora, CO over the weekend. It's just so sad and for crying out loud, why do we have so many of these events?!? My heart goes out to the families of the victims and shooter, to the survivors, to the community, law enforcement, first responders, hospital staff... everyone basically. It's just heart-breaking.
  • So the Olympics are coming up! =) I really like the olympics. I've never been much of a tv sports watcher but I do get into these! Val and I were WAY into the swim trials a few weeks ago. Kind of ridiculous actually. But GO USA!!! =)
  • We have a family reunion this weekend. I'm excited for the one time this summer I'll have my buns in a cool pool.
  • Forgot to post that I attended my friend Tabitha's wedding back in June. It was right before we left for Colorado so I guess I just spaced it out. Here's a pic of us girls...
  • I've been somewhat back in the cookin' mood lately. Made some greek yogurt/whole wheat pancakes off Pinterest this weekend along with some scrambled eggs. I'm making a crock pot meal tonight too... it's super easy... pork chops, ranch dressing packet, baked potatoes wrapped in foil on top of that, and frozen corn cobs wrapped in foil on top of that! A full meal. We'll see how it turns out.

Monday Morning Pop Tart

Friday, July 20
Week 21: We spent time with my old college friends/roomies this past weekend. I had fun and they’re excited to officially meet you in a few months. =) You even got a few sweet gifts. I struggled with being tired and had some swelling in the evenings. Other times this week it appeared my cankles had cankles. I know you’re going to be worth it though and I’m sure your chubby legs will be much cuter than mine! =) For now, I’ll be trying to keep my feet up more.
Highlights
How Far Along: 21 weeks
Size of baby:
Total Weight Gain/Loss: 12+ (will find out the latest official # this week)
Maternity Clothes: Pretty much nuthin' but.
Gender: We're going to be surprised. Most friends and family are guessing boy though.
Movement: Oh yes!
Sleep: About the same. Good nights and not too good nights. At this point any trouble I have is due to A) being hot, B) being uncomfortable/in pain, or C) wild and crazy dreams.
Symptoms: The latest is swelling. It seems to be worse on my right side. I had a migraine this week too - who knows if that's really related or not though. Still having heartburn but for the most part it's tolerable with some Pepcid. I continue to have the back/hip pain. I think it's here for the long haul. =( Otherwise, I've been super hungry again this week (maybe baby is hitting a growth spurt?) but that's about it.
What I miss: Cooler weather! =)
Cravings: Let's see here... Chinese Food, believe it or not. Cookies (which I've totally indulged in). Oh, and let's not forget FRIED CHICKEN. This cracks me up because for a good month, not too long ago, chicken was the LAST thing I wanted (maybe even behind lettuce if you can imagine...). It made me gag every time. AND ice cream. That's a lot of cravings, no? =)
Best Moment this week: Spending time away with friends and also, as petty as this is, getting a hair cut!
What I am looking forward to: Finalizing nursery plans and my appt. later this week.

More out of order randoms...

  • I got a HAIR CUT. And a BROW WAX. Whole new girl with hair that now feels light as a feather and brows that actually look like a girl's. Whew. It was touch and go there for a while.
  • Work Wednesday was more like a Monday on Meth. An awful, crazy, out of control, I want to bang my head on the desk and drink a tall vanilla vodka-n-coke through a jumbo twisty straw kind of day. Glad that's over! =)
  • Dac brought home treats the other day which re-ignited my love for Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches. Oh how I love those little boogers. The box is gone now.
  • Awesome Wii Night = fried chicken + mashed taters + sweet cuddly babies + friends who let ya get comfy and make yourself at home + old Dexter episodes + forgetting the "real world" for a little bit.
  • Three large Diet Dr. Peppers in one day is probably over the suggested pregnancy limit. =) Then again, I'm no expert.
  • Pinterest. That blasted pinterest. It's good for: reminding me what great taste I have, inspiring me to be more awesome, reminding me that I will probably never accomplish 98% of the great outfits, recipes, craft projects, house projects... etc...
  • I have started selling things on our local buy-sell-trade facebook page. It's like a garage sale only EASIER and in one evening I made over $50 - just selling some clothes I've been holding onto for my glorious skinny days to come again (4 years later). Proceeds are going into the baby fund jar. =)
  • We have 4 photo sessions this weekend. All with awesome people. I'm a tad nervous because A) it's hot as a fire cracker out there and B) I'm tiring out puh-rettty easily these days. Should be interesting but fun, I know.
  • I think I may have to switch to tennis shoes instead of flip flops for the remainder of the pregnancy... at least as long as tennis shoes will fit. I think it'll help cut down on the swelling... maybe? Maybe even keep my size 8's from turning into size 10's? Who knows. I'm all about comfort so whatever will provide that, I'm down. I don't care how un-incredibly trendy it is.
  • I love an excuse to buy new tennis shoes. Just sayin'. =)
  • Did I mention our AC went out yesterday. Yep. It sure did. SAUNA.

Whoa Baby: Growth Spurt

I put these clothes on this morning (maternity clothes mind you) and they were TIGHT. I realize this same exact outfit fit pretty dang good just a few weeks ago. What's the deal?!

Here's before at I THINK around 14 weeks sometime:

And now - at just a day away from 21 weeks:

Apparently I'm growing all over. ha! =) I'm sort of scared to see what I'll look like in another few weeks!!

Monday Morning Pop Tart

I apologize for being so behind. I turned 20 weeks on Friday, July 13.

Week 20: HALFWAY THERE!!!!!!!! =) Hey you! You have really been moving, kicking, and punching up a storm lately!! Although - you didn’t show off much during the sonogram this week. =| I was hoping your dad would get to see you dancing this time but you played bashful. =) You looked great though and the tech said you might come earlier than we expected. Turkey Day baby? We’ll see what Dr. A says later this month. Whew! I know you’ll be here before we know it! I think your big brother Peety might be noticing something’s up. He’s been extra lovey and pouty this week. Love pug. I know he’ll be super good to you. In other good news, I feel like I can handle my eating better. I don’t feel the need to eat every second right now and healthier things are sounding good again! =)

Again with the hawkwardness. These shouldn't be that hard. haha!
Highlights
How Far Along: 20 weeks
Size of baby: Butternut Squash
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Approx. 12 lbs.
Maternity Clothes: Yep! A true dream come true for me. =)
Gender: We're going to be surprised! (I almost blew this at the sonogram by forgetting to tell the tech... but Val reminded me. Whew!)
Movement: Yep! =) Weird and pretty cool at the same time. Had some pretty intense kicks or punches this week... I'm ready for Dac to be able to feel it.
Sleep: Some nights are pretty good... others not. I'm ok with it... good practice I guess and I've always been a pretty light sleeper anyway. I am having a few wild dreams every now and then. Intense.
Symptoms: I definitely don't feel like I'm eating quite as much and while I still pee all the time, the nightly trips have slowed down for a while. The nausea has continued to stay away except for a few bad headaches, etc... that cause it.  I'm still having heartburn and back/hip pain. I'm also having a harder time turning my brain off.
What I miss: Not much of anything right now.
Cravings: This week has been donuts again. Fail.
Best Moment this week: Seeing the baby on the sonogram. He/she didn't quite cooperate like I'd hoped but it was still cool and things looked good (far as I could tell). Also, friend time!
What I am looking forward to: A trip to see my old college roomies. Love them and am super excited.

Recap

  • Seems I again failed to get my Pop Tart post up in an on-time manner. Ooops! Tomorrow!
  • Last Wednesday, I had some good hang out time with Kayla. We grabbed Subway for dinner and spent the rest of the evening chatting!
  • Thursday, I spent the evening with Val and Cori. Val and I ran a couple errands then went to Cori's to hang out and hold babies. We ordered in pizza too.  They are just so sweet and it was the first time I'd really seen Val and Cori in a couple weeks so it was fun and needed. It was also the first time I'd seen Charli in a while too. She had some buddies over so she was busy, but it was still great to see her. =)
  • When I got home that night, I got to spend a couple priceless hours with Dac. We'd hardly said two words to each other all week since we were both busy so we had lots of catching up to do and I loved every minute of it.
  • I left after work Friday for OKC. I went to visit my old roommates and a couple other awesome girls I'm friends with from college.
  • I finally made it after my phone's navigation went buzzurk and got me lost. =| I was uncomfortable, had to pee, and frustrated beyond belief in that crazy construction zone of rush hour traffic. Beth, Julie, and I tried to go to Bad Brad's BBQ that night but it was so packed we wound up at City Bites instead. I still say it's a win. Can't go wrong with either of those! =) I just love the heck out of these girls. College wouldn't have been college without them - they were my family away from family. I'm so glad we live close enough to see each other even if it's not quite as often as I'd like. After dinner, we went back to Beth's (where I stayed) and chatted, ate our weight in Julie's famous no-bake cookies, and then Natalie joined us. Natalie is the epitome of entertaining. She has such awesome stories. It was great to see all these girls I hadn't seen since Julie's wedding in November.
  • Saturday morning, Beth and I ate some breakfast, were super lazy, and watched some TV. =) Just like old times, haha! Then Julie (who brought even MORE cookies, haha) and Ginger (who brought me the sweetest little baby gifts) met us. We caught up with Ginger for a while before hitting up Pei Wei for lunch and going to Anthropologie. I wrote Dac and told him I left there with empty hands so he was one lucky man and I deserved a gold start! =) After that we went back to Beth's and played Noteability. It's an old (early 90's) board game with a miniature grand piano... basically name that tune. It was pretty fun and hilarious. Oh - and we ate more cookies. We chatted some more before a late dinner at McAllisters. Julie and Ginger headed home after that while Beth and I watched a couple episodes of "The Choice" before hitting the hay.
  • The next morning, Julie came back over and Beth made us yummy pancakes. We hung out a while more then I came back this way. The trip was much needed and I had a great time. Traffic was MUCH better and I just flat didn't use navigation so it was a faster trip too, ha! As usual, I stopped in Stilly for a coke and potty break. I love that they have a nice gas station right off the interstate there now. Dac and I went for a pizza lunch date when I got back. Then we took a nap before I started laundry. Once that was going we (even Peety) watched Lincoln Lawyer and The Next Three Days... both were pretty darn good and even better was spending time with my loves. =) I even conned Dac into talking about the nursery with me for a little bit. ha!
  • Today actually started out ok for a Monday. Until, it wasn't so ok anymore. I started getting a horrible headache. It felt like a huge migraine coming on... the kind where all you can do is turn off all the lights and sleep it off. Before it got too awful though, I spilt my yogurt. I dropped the cup and the yogurt splattered all over me, all through my hair, all down my office door, onto my office walls, and of course made a huge mess on the floor. Really? All I could do was laugh but it really was quite disgusting. Then the headache got worse and I was suddenly starving. I headed to McD's with my gas light on so I could scarf down my lunch. Then I got gas. Then I came back to work and shortly after, ate another lunch. Don't judge. I'm just going to blame the baby. =) I am starting to feel a tad better but the headache is still pretty knarly. Hoping it clears up soon or it will be a very unproductive night.

Colorado #3 - 2

So like I mentioned yesterday, we took a drive through the mountains. No crazy steep drives or anything, just a pretty view.

It was a tad (a lot) hazy and we even saw quite a bit of smoke... which you can kind of see below. There was also a thunderstorm moving in around this time too.

Still pretty...

I think it's so weird that the ROCKY Mountains have so many dang trees. Apparently these boogers are resourceful.

Dac taking in the scenery.

Matt and Dac

Some deer we saw in an old burn area.

After a trip through some crazy rains and flash flood warnings, we rested for a bit, then headed out for dinner at the Cheeky Monk. It's a family-owned business that goes to Belgium and brings back lots of Belgian beer.

Their food was also really good. I got the Monk and Cheese. =)

We watched 21 Jump Street that night and Dac and I headed back on what seemed like the longest, most uncomfortable ride ever the next morning. Trip = total success! Can't wait to see everyone again... hopefully around the holidays!

Colorado #3 - 1

We spent Thursday in Boulder. Oh Boulder. You hippie-little-love-nest you. You're cute as can be and kinda fun but I think you're high as a kite on a windy Kansas day and you smell of incense. Just sayin'. =)

We drove around, looked at the beautiful campus (it's not my OSU but it's pretty dang close) and took a stroll through Pearl Street Mall which was cool.

We stopped for lunch at this cool little corner deli.

Someone spent a lot of time creating the artsy menus. =) They also gave us a sample of their fresh, homemade cookies. Bonus.

I branched out and got their most popular sandwich. The T.B.A (turkey, bacon, and avocado). It had... get this... turkey, bacon, and avocado on it. =) It also had mustard and tomatoes (and lettuce, but I lost that part in a hurry). It was oh so deliciously fabulous. YUM. I paired it with Boulder Canyon chips and a sweet tea. Be still my beating heart.

After lunch we went to Boulder Beer. This was a much better tour than Great Divide (though their branding isn't nearly as cool). Our tour guide was named Chicken Dan. =) You can't go wrong with a beer drinking guy named Chicken Dan. It's nearly impossible.

Anyway, we did that deal and at the end there's a room full of pitchers for tasting. Dac got him a fun t-shirt on the way out while I got my parched self a pint of water. =)

It was lots fun. After this we took a leisurely drive... more on that next time!

Colorado #2: Happy 4th!

We stayed around Matt and Kelly's on the 4th. They cooked a fabulous meal and had Kelly's family and several friends over.

Kelly's sister Jess made this flag fruit tray! =) Love me some fruit and dip.

Matt made the stellar ribs...

And of course we had tons of other cook-out type dishes that were great. Matt and Kelly definitely outdid themselves.

After we ate, I played games with Kelly and her family while the guys played video games in the basement. I won this game. It was fun but I think the only reason I won is because her family took pity on the new girl. haha! We also played Farkle. Ya'll know I can't do math but I managed and that was fun too.

Once everyone left, we caught part of a firework show out the window of the house and watched the D.C. show on TV. Not the typical 4th but a fun one none-the-less. =)

Colorado #1

So we have this great group of friends. They started out as Dac's friends in high school, but I've adopted them as my own now too. =) Anyway, I've mentioned them several times before and we try to get together a couple times a year at least.

Matt and Kelly live in Colorado and you may remember that the boys like to do the 4th of July firework shows - like last year for instance. With all the fires (sad face) in Colorado this year, the show they were supposed to do got cancelled. We still wanted to go visit though so Dac and I left Monday the 2nd around lunch time. We got in that evening and John was already there (he flew...lucky!). Kelly was at rehearsal for Seussical the Musical ('cuz she's cool like that!) so I sat around talking to the boys until she got home. I think this was the night we found lots of fun music on Spotify to listen to.

We got up the next morning and headed out on the town. We swung by Costco to get some yummy things for the 4th, then went to a tasty American Indian place called Tocabo. It was featured on The Food Network's "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives". It. Was. Delicious. Seriously tasty. John got stuff off "Guy's Menu" including bison ribs with a blueberry bbq sauce. Everyone else got indian tacos that looked divine.

Here's Dac's bison indian taco:

I, however, got the bison-stuffed fry bread. Mmm. Mmm. Good. I also added honey to the top which made it even better. The only thing I would have changed about my order was to get extra fry bread on the side! =)

Happy customer.

Artwork. Some of their t-shirts said "no reservations needed". Have I mentioned I'm part Osage - on my dad's side? Holla!

Here's me looking all touristy-hawkward thanks to poor posture and feeling weird b/c people were trying to get inside and I was in the way. haha!

After lunch we braved IKEA. I didn't get a ton of stuff but I did get some fun dog butt hooks for the nursery. Here's part of the group with their loot.

Next up was a tour of Great Divide brewery. The tour was just mediocre and there wasn't tasters along the way. The bar part was also super packed so after waiting for a while, we decided to head out.

Mine. =)

That night, Kelly had rehearsal again (boo) so the guys and I headed to Longmont to eat at this quaint, happenin' little pump house. It appears it was set up in an old fire house. Way cool. The atmosphere was fun and the food was fab. So was the company... duh.

I got fish and chips (sweet potato fries). YUM.

Dac got a burger and a couple beers.

I took these two on the ride home. It was pretty hazy and the mountains weren't nearly as visible as they normally are.

But still there. Whew! =)

Midweek Randoms

So much to post... pictures even!! =) But not today. haha.
  • I've been craving sour gummy worms since Friday when we were on our way home from Colorado and I saw a little kid pick some up at a gas station. Finally got some yesterday. They seem more sour than I remember. Still delicious though and I think the craving is fixed.
  • I had my sonogram yesterday. Everything looked good. Baby was being sleepy/bashful - hiding his/her face so we didn't really even get to see it let alone get cute little skeletor pictures of it. =) I think I'm bruised now from the tech pushing so dang hard trying to get the baby to roll over. All the important parts were there, we got an awesome look at the perfect little heart, and the heart rate was 143. The baby was measuring over a week ahead of schedule. Every ultrasound I've had - the baby has measured big. I've also measured a bit big too. So it'll be interesting to see if my OB moves the due date up.

  • I also had a dentist appt. yesterday. I despise going to the dentist. I do have a dentist I really really like now, but I still don't like going. NOW, I apparently have awful, horrible, pregnant person gums. They bled like crazy and hurt SO bad. They still hurt. I wouldn't be surprised if they hurt for a week. =( The extra bad news is that I'm stuck with these things until the baby gets here. The good news is that they WILL go back to normal. Whew.
  • Going back to work after a few days off is rough.
  • I'm almost finished with the last season of Psych on Netflix. On one hand it's a relief but on the other, it's kind of sad. ha!
  • We had my parents over for dinner Saturday for my Mom's birthday. Dac made some yummy ribs and we had corn on the cob, baked beans, bread, and fruit with some angel food cake for dessert. It was a fun time!
  • I spent Sunday stretched out on the couch being a lazy bum. It was sort of a welcome thing.
  • Peety came home from camp vet. He has been a total love pug and looks and smells so much better (better not good... haha). I sure missed him!
  • Dac got me a massage for my birthday. I'm excited to use it soon!!
  • I get to see my old college roomies this weekend and I'm super excited for that too!
  • I'm starting to stress a weeeeeeee bit about all the house stuff and just stuff in general I need to get done. Sigh.

Monday Morning Pop Tart

Week 19: Heard your sweet heartbeat this week. 140 bpm - very good little one! =) Dr. A said you and I are both doing well. You’ll probably learn that I’m a bit of a worry wart so I of course worry a little bit that things are going to take a turn for the not so fantastic, but really, I’ve felt pretty at ease through this whole process. I know it must be right! =) We spent most of the week in Colorado visiting friends and having a great time! We visited lots of fun places and I fed you tons of delicious food! =) You’re welcome!

Highlights
How Far Along: 19 weeks
Size of baby: Large Mango
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Approx. 12 lbs.
Maternity Clothes: Oh yes. I've been gifted lots of comfy shirts. Good thing since some of my regular t-shirts are getting a tad short now.
Gender: We're going to be surprised!
Movement: Absolutely feeling it now!! Some days more than others but it's there and it's pretty cool.
Sleep: It's really hit or miss. The constant peeing seems to be not-so-constant now but the discomfort is still there.
Symptoms: I'm starting to notice a slight decrease in the constant hunger. It's not all day every day anymore. Sure, I still have to eat more frequently but I'm also getting fuller quicker and can't eat as much at each sitting. The nausea has continued to stay decreased. HOLLA! Every now and then if I wait too long to eat I'll get it but it is such a major improvement over past months that I won't dare complain about it.  I'm still having occasional heartburn, mega headaches, and back/hip pain. I'm starting to feel more of a need to get things done. Granted, the motivation isn't necessarily there to make it happen! =) I'm waiting on that sudden 2nd trimester rush of nesting energy I've heard about! ha!
What I miss: Not much of anything right now.
Cravings: Sandwiches, sour gummy worms, fruit.
Best Moment this week: Time off work with Dac and some good friends in Colorado. I also learned that Pop Tart can hear us now. =) That makes me oh-so-happy.
What I am looking forward to: THE ultrasound this week! =) We're not finding out the sex but I'm still pretty pumped about it.
