This was taken at Dac's parents house when we celebrated Easter with them a week early. He got some cool shades and a hat from them - and some candy that I quickly scarfed down before he could miss it.
Looking rather dapper on a fine Easter morning.
Reid with his basket. He got all kinds of goodies. I got the "basket" itself from Thirty One Bags and got it to match his room so it can be used for toy storage now. I got him two limited edition Bum Genius diapers, a teether, keys, shorts, Dr. Seuss board book "All the Thinks You Can Think". He also got some cereal for when we start on that. I think he was pleased.
Here's a close shot of one of the diapers. Fun, no?
Here he is "hunting" eggs after church.
Terese picked these beauties up for him so I decided, against my better judgement... why not? =)
We went to Good Friday service (it may be morbid, but it's one of my most favorite services during the year - that and Christmas Eve). I have a slightly better feel this year for what it must have felt like for God to give up his son - have him killed. I still can't grasp it. Thankfully, I just need to believe it and be thankful for it - which I am. Saturday, Matt stopped by to say hey so that was fun. =) But of course we missed Kelly. =( We also had photos so Aunt Val came and watched Reid. Then we cooked out and watched WSU play.
Sunday, we skipped Sunrise Service even though we were up for it. But went to regular service before heading out to Grandma Millie's for a yummy lunch. Reid, again, "hunted" eggs and got some money for his piggy bank. He also got a fun outfit and toy from his Grandma and Grandpa.
