2014 DIP Family Reunion

Each year Dac's extended family gets together for a reunion at Camp Horizon. It involves families of Grandma Jo and her siblings. We eat, swim, some play disc golf, some hike, some kayak down the river, some play games, etc... good times.

I often will see a picture of me and cringe. It's kind of a "is that really me and how did I get here?" thought. ha! I want to post them anyway because, for one, I'm usually the one behind the camera AND because I want Reid to always have these pictures. To know I was there and happy to be with him. =) I don't pay attention to or care about my mom's weight in pictures from my childhood. I just notice she had a smile on her face when she was playing with me. The extra pounds are part of the right now ME and that's just the ME he should remember. The mom to his 19-month old, very loved self.
