Midweek Randoms
- I have a doctor's appointment today - complete with the big sugar test - hoping for good results there. Dac's going with me so it'll be a good time to ask lots of questions too. Thrilling for everyone involved, I'm sure. =)
- Thursday night was Wii Night. We had it over at Steve and Cori's and Val cooked an awesome meal. It was good times!
- We already discussed our Friday date night.
- Saturday, we did stuff around the house and I went grocery shopping. I also went to lunch with my Dad. =) AND OSU won. I made chili that night. It hit the spot... for a while... then my heartburn and stomach started to get grumpy with it.
- Sunday = more house work. LOTS of it. We also grabbed lunch with Dac's parents and ran some other errands. INCLUDING - getting my new jeans hemmed (Mary was hero that day) and picking up nursery pillows. I think they turned out swell!
- Dac brought up some of my old childhood books from the basement. I knew for sure I wanted to feature a few of the Golden Books in the nursery and I pulled out the Dr. Seuss books too just for kicks and giggles. Later that night I went through the baby things we already have and took tags off some stuff and even did my first load of baby laundry (bibs and burp cloths).
- There are few things like a warm bath, a fresh coat of lotion, cool, clean sheets, and a dose of benadryl to bring about a good night's sleep.
- Dac and I have been enjoying the "iTunes Festival" option on Netflix. iTunes is sponsoring 30 days of concerts in London - broadcast live on Netflix and most of them stick around so you can catch them at a later time too. I think it's a cool concept and we've enjoyed having a concert playing in the background while we work. I'm hoping it's something they do annually.
- Went for a walk last night... ouch.
- As much as I need to be doing stuff around the house I'm starting to settle back into a "sit on the couch and watch tv" routine. There for a few weeks I watched next to zero tv. But I'm tiring out.
- I had friends bring me treats yesterday. =) Erica brought some sweet baby gifts since she can't make it to the shower. Kayla brought me a "good luck on your sugar test" card along with a bag of mini Reeses cups. =) haha! And Cori had a cotton candy donut hole cluster waiting for me when I got home.
- My football picks are leaving a lot to be desired.
- I'm love-love-loving the cooler weather in the evenings. =)
