Colorado: Day 1

So before I get into our fabulous trip west, I want to share this mind blowing cake Val and Cori brought me for my birthday Wii night. =) Um... HELLO!?!?! It's a KIT-KAT cake. WITH m&m's on it. It was so bad for us but it was oh so good. Thanks guys!!


The next day we worked half a day then headed to Ellsworth to pick up our buddy John and his brother-n-law Alex for the long drive to Denver for our 4th of July weekend extravaganza!

First sight of the mountains...
To be honest, I was a little worried that being the only girl on this road trip would mean an awkward car ride and a hurting bladder. Well, I should have known better with these guys. It was a blast. Lots of laughs and John even let me stop to pee. =) Granted I refused to drink anything (no, not even a Diet Dr. Pepper... oh the agony) for the first half of the trip... but still. Silly me. Hooray! We arrived at Matt and Kelly's. We ate some pizza, made a beer run (these guys can drink some beer now), and looked at some old pictures which of course prompted lots of laughing and friendly ridiculing. =) There's no catching a break in this group.
